Everyone pays the same basic price at QPC!

We are always being asked how much a Model Portfolio costs,
the truth is that you can’t buy a Portfolio it should be made up
from the work you have done.

But if you are just starting out and you want to start putting a portfolio together we can help.

You could start with a £35.00 portrait sitting but you’ll be better off booking a full day’s Commercial session at £300. We charge the
same price for studio photography and computer time £70 per hour*
so our day rate will save you £260. You could spend the day in our
studio, but we recommend a half day studio session and half a day
post processing to give you the best possible results.

Images are supplied as high resolution jpeg files or when you have enough images you could have your portfolio printed directly into one of our Photobooks. ( see the link on the portraits page)

Over twenty years experience of Portrait & Commercial Photography

We’ve been working from our present studio since 2001 and we have been taking Portrait Photographs in Taunton Somerset since 1984.

In that time we’ve seen many studios come and go, some have been small and inexperienced. Others have been large national franchise’s. I don’t know for sure how come QPC has survived but I suspect it’s because we have never charged the ridiculous prices that some photographers try to get away with.

At QPC we specialize in all forms of studio portraits from baby photography to full model portfolios. Since 2001 our studio has been within our shop located close to Tauntons busy railway station on Kingston Road. We have a large studio with changing room and baby changing facilities, although the building itself is Victorian and still has many original features, our studio is modern and well equipped, with lots of wall space covered in samples of our work.Please note that our studio has a large door and no steps (apart from the kerb) making it easily wheelchair accessible.

Our studio can handle all sorts of portrait assignments from simple passports to large (ish) family groups.

We’ve had plenty of experience of Commercial Photography over the last 20 years. Being based in Somerset means we are well versed in photographing agricultural assignments but we don’t just photograph cows and combine harvesters! We have photographed everything from micro chips to a mountain bikes in our studio and larger items can easily be photographed on site and then digitally enhanced to remove backgrounds.

We have lots of experience in helping small companies with brochure designs and website photographs, and we have worked with many larger companies photographing corporate portraits and product shots. Over the years we have photographed Hotels, Holiday Camps, Tractors, Electric wheelchairs, Lasers, Factories of all shapes and sizes, Countless homes and offices, Cheese, Trumpets, Bottled Water, Robots! Electric cars, Hospitals, more Cheese, Cakes, Cheesecakes! Vacuum cleaners, Cider, Sculptures, Cans of fizzy drinks, Pumps, Golf courses, Straw Hats, Leather goods, Walkie Talkies, Shops and Supermarkets, a few Celebrities, Shirts, Some ones hip bone ( just after it was removed) Pubs, and lots more Cheese. And that’s just the jobs I can remember!
